Student Entrepreneur to be named National Champion with $10,000 cash prize!

TORONTO, ON (September 15, 2014) – If you run a business and are attending a Canadian university or college full time, or you know someone who is, now is the time to submit your nomination for the Student Entrepreneur National Competition.

Since 1997, Enactus Canada and the John Dobson Foundation have presented the Student Entrepreneur National Competition as a platform for young business leaders to network with like-minded students, showcase their business to top executives and leading entrepreneurs, and accelerate the growth of their business.

“This is an incredible opportunity for student entrepreneurs to gain exposure for their businesses and we strongly encourage all student entrepreneurs to come forward and apply,” explains Nicole Almond, president of Enactus Canada. “Entrepreneurs are the foundation of this country and Enactus Canada is pleased to celebrate and support the entrepreneurial spirit through this competition.”

Nominations and self nominations will be accepted at www.enactus.ca until Friday, November 21, 2014. The competition is open to full-time students at Canadian universities or colleges who are running their own businesses.
