Open to third and fourth year university students, CEO for a Day is a program run by Odgers Berndtson, a leading global executive search firm that will help you gain valuable career skills and experience.
Up to 20 finalists will be chosen to spend a day shadowing a CEO in four major Canadian cities – Montreal, Toronto, Calgary and Vancouver. Participating companies include Cineplex, Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, GE Canada, Via Rail and lululemon.
What’s in it for you:
- Participating in the 4-stage recruitment process gives you valuable skills and experience for future job searches
- Two out of three applicants will have the opportunity to complete an online leadership assessment and receive a personalized report on aspects of their leadership skills like relationship building, goal setting and strategic thinking
- Finalists will spend a full day shadowing a CEO (including one-on-one time), learning about their background, career path and leadership approach
